BACK TO SCHOOL PARENT RESOURCES: The Back to School online resource helps families quickly and easily access information to prepare for the new school year. Among the resources are links to the school calendar; school opening/closing times; attendance policy, the Code of Student Conduct; before and after school child care; breakfast and lunch menus; transportation services; graduation requirements; resources for getting involved in their child’s education; monitoring academic progress; and much more. SCHOOL PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY REPORTS (SPARS) - Florida's School Public Accountability Reports have been generated to comply with federal legislation that requires annual report cards on the educational progress of schools, school districts, and the state.  These reports are initially published prior to the beginning of the school year.  The School Public Accountability Report contains several types of data (indicators) designed to inform parents and the general public about the progress of Florida's public schools.  This report meets public reporting requirements and provides certain additional information of interest on the status of Florida's schools.  Click here to view the report.

ADVANC-ED ACCREDITATION - Broward County Public Schools is #1!  As confirmed by the Advanc-ed Accreditation Agency, Broward County Public Schools holds the distinguished title as follows:  Broward County Public Schools is Florida's first fully accredited school system since 1962.

If you were an active, approved volunteer in 2014-2015, you will NOT need to complete a new application. Your information is being automatically processed for this school year. Once we receive confirmation that you have been approved for 2015-2016, we will set a time to issue you a new badge at the school.

CPE IS ONLINE  - Monies for grade level activities and field trips are collected online. Please prepare an online account by going to Detailed directions are available here.  Also, we are paperless, with the exception of documents that need to be returned to CPE.  If you are not receiving our emails, please join our email list located on this page.  If you have not accessed our mobile app, please visit your app store on your cell phone and type in Central Park Elementary.  Our mobile app is a picture of an owl.

CLASS SIZE AND STUDENT PLACEMENT - Due to the State Class Size Reduction law, students may need to be moved between teachers after the start of school to ensure compliance with the required student limits.  These limits are 18 students for Pre-Kindergarten to grade 3; 22 students for grades 4 to 8; and 25 students for grades 9 to 12 in core classes.   Please know that students’ needs will continue to be met through proper instruction and services.  Additional information on core classes or anything related to Class Size Reduction is available on the Class Size Reduction website at
